I PM'd you about this, but I don't know if you saw it, so I'll just post it here. Can us mods, Judgement Elfchild and I, have some powers? Since we're just like everybody else, only instead of eggs we have grass, not a very big diffrence. Buttersctotch suggested you might have forgotten, so this is a reminder, unless you don't want us to have any. ^_^

Yes, I wouldn't mind having the power to lock topics because it would cut down on a lot of the useless chatter.

Not being a moderator, I would like to second that they be given some sort of something they can do.
Lock threads being the main one.
Everyone -should- be respecting them because they do, in fact, have grass instead of eggs. I like sweet potatoes, myself. *chuckles* But, anyway.
As moderators, they're entrusted with the dignity and safety of the forum while you're gone, HM4Girls. They should be able to lock threads, delete replies if they find them offensive, and other small things like that.
Nothing so grandiose as being able to delete the forum or appoint other moderators.

I think the fact that the mods have no powers may have been an oversite on HM4Girls' part.
She should do one of two things: 1) modify the member group "moderator" to have unlimited powers; that means you can use your mod powers on any board (essntially, global-mods)
or 2) give you limited powers, and add your names to the staff list under the modify boards section. You could only use your mod powers on boards where you were listed as mods.
I strongly suspect that HM4Girls gave you guys limited powers and neglected to modify the boards to list you as staff.

yeah, i agree, as a mod, that we need some powers, so that we can make updates. However, on my own forum I cant give powers to anyone. there is a thing in the adimin's section that has three choices: global mod., mod., and admin. none of them seem to give the people i try to give powers any. But it might be the upgrade, because beforehand i had a different forum that didnt get upgraded and when you set them as admin it actually gave the person power. So the fault might go to the upgrade, whitch is sorta weird cause its supposed to be an upgrade that updates things(whitch it did) rather than deleting them. Sorry if that doesnt make sense.

The section it is in has changed. You can choose the powers by going to: Admin -> Modify Group -> Choose a group -> Continue

Hey, HM4Girls, I figured that since you were currently online at the moment, that you needed to see this topic that the mods posted. ^_^

O__o; Hmm... okay, well, that gets me thinking here. Do you know if there's a page where you can set their statuses or anything, because all three of your mods have announced that they couldn't really do anything "mod-ish."
