Gustafa's only love

My friend and I were playing the game at her house and we had both Gustafa and Marlin at 4 hearts. So we just decided to wait until the end of the year and see who would propose.
Well, the end of the year came and Gustafa was knocking at the door. And then after much mushy dialogue and said yes. But then we wondered what would have happened if we said "I'm sorry.."
So we restarted the game and chose "I'm sorry" and it was just THE saddest thing ever. Gustafa got all depressed and bitter. He said, "So you just want to be alone for the rest of your life, well I think that's really sad."
And then he walked out all heartbroken. My friend and I felt so guilty that we had to restart the game and say yes.
Has anyone else ever done that, just to see what they'd say?

oh yes muffy came to my door before and she got really sad and then i restarted the game

Yeah...I did that with Celia. I felt bad. Oh yeah, I also did that with Rock...I felt bad then too.

I meant to do that... you know... wait 'till a bachelor picks but I couldn't help myself ^^ Gustafa's a nice guy; I'd feel bad for breaking his heart even if it was only for a moment.

I once joked around and accidentally offered Celia the blue feather, and I had already proposed to Nami (she said no, but I tried to fix my relation ship with her) And she came back at the end of the year and If I didn't marry her the game ended.

I didn't do that on the girl one. I did it on the boy one with Muffy, but that was before I got the girl one.  |

I accidently did that to Nami once. I hadn't saved in two seasons ( in the game)

I did that once with Muffy. It was sad and I felt really bad cause I couldn't restart and change it cause I had given the feather to Celia and then saved afterwards. So I felt really bad cause the next morning Muffy came running to my house and yelled at me for breaking her heart!  |

Ya but i dumped Nami and it didnt restart for me though but like ya they get all sad and then they leave your house.

no what i did?
haha, i said it, and then i wondered what would happened if i said yes, but i felt guilty saying yes, since i just wanted the kid and no 'it' bugging me lol
but i ended up saying yes because it was the only way to get a kid XD
