OK, so I have a few questions about Natsume: - Is it pronounced Natsoomee? - And, Natsume is Japanese, right? So Natsume, in Japanese, is jujube, which is a type of tree... was that an accident?

I'm pretty sure It's Natsoomay and yes, it is Japanese. Also, it may not be someone's name. It's just a company, the tree could be their logo for all we know... -_-' which isn't that much obviously lol but... yeah Natsume may not be just one person. Also, there are tons of different symbols and words for different things. Depending on the WAY YOU PRONOUNCE IT (key frase) it could be two different things with the same spelling here, but diffent over there. I have a chinese friend and she taught me my name in chinese. I pronouned it ONE syllable off!!! and she laughed at me and told me I had said something totally different. *shrugs*

I always say Nat-soo-may, but if it's like other words (like tsuki or the name Daisuke) wouldn't the "u" be pronounced quietly or a bit shorter?

If it's Japanese, then it has to be Naht-soo-may. I used to pronounce it Naht-soom too, until I learned it was originally a Japanese game, hehe.
