At first we weren't really going to be adding a set of rules or guidelines, but some of the moderators decided that it would probably be best due to the nature of some of the posts that have popped up lately. If anyone would like anything added then feel free to send a private message to one of us and we'll be adding it.
Hotlinking Images
Please do not hotlink to images because you are stealing the website's bandwidth. Host them on your own website or use an image hosting site. If you don't know of any I have linked to a few at the bottom of this post.
Offensive Language
Please refrain from using offensive language in your posts. Some words that may be considered offensive are swear words and words that are degrading to a group of people when used in a negative connotation, such as "gay."
You may use the word "gay" in a context that isn't offensive. If you wish to refer to someone that is gay or wish to use it to mean "merry," such as in fan fiction, then that is all right. Calling something gay and using it in a negative context is not all right and the posts containing these words will be edited, deleted, or locked depending on the thread and how long it is.
Spam
Please try not to spam. There's a spam thread here that outlines much of what is considered spam.
Chat Speak
Some chat speak is all right (such as "lol" and so on), but if we can't read your post then it will be deleted and a warning will be sent out.
Adult Content
Please do not post any adult content here. This includes content in fan fiction and fan art. Linking to adult content is also forbidden.
A good rule of thumb is to keep everything PG-13 or suitable for a thirteen-year-old to see. Anything higher will be deleted.

Photobucket - This is a great site for hosting images. There is a limit ot the size, although it was recently increased.
ImageShack - Another image hosting site, although you don't have to register for this one.
