Hey all! Cheza-chan's back!!! Alright- you guys may be done discussin but I'm not! HM: Magical Melody (as it was renamed) is comin' here March 15. Of course (if they pull a "Zelda Twilight Princess") this date could be furthered *rolls eyes* but considering how far the game's come that's doubtable. Now (for all others who are so excited they're practically peeing in their pants ) we're gonna play a game! Hehe! Favorite new thing: Definitely the marriable rival! Guy or girl? Who knows!!! (although it's most likely always the opposite gender of your character's gender) Favorite pic: Thing most hoped they included: Umm... *sigh* I know they didn't but v.v Nina from HM: AnWL and HM: AWL. She was so cuuuuute!!! (is she included... ) Thing you hope they don't include!!!: THE STUPID MINES!! I'm sorry- I don't like 'em. My opinion though... (oh and I liked the mine in the two AWL games... less... difficult...) Thing most looking forward to: THE CHOICES!!!! so much new things!!! K all, now it's your turn! Tell me all of the above in bold! ... P.S... does anyone remember me...?

Favorite new thing: Being able to marry the characters from HM: StH, especially Gwen and Kurt, as well as being able to marry your rival.
Favorite pic: I'll do some looking later.
Thing most hoped they included: No idea. I'm just happy that there's a new game coming out that has the HM: StH characters. I always liked the characters, but the game itself was very disappointing for me.
Thing you hope they don't include: Farming like in HM: AWL. I hated having to water every plant individually two or three times a day and felt like throwing something against a wall.
Thing most looking forward to: Being able to marry Gwen and Kurt.

Yep, I remember you. Welcome back!

I got some info!
At first glance, Magical Melody looks like a throwback to Harvest Moon 64, one of Natsume's best loved games, due to its art style and fixed camera angle. But the upcoming GCN title has something that most Harvest Moon games, including HM64, lack: a definitive goal. Rather than having little no direction, you'll be recruited by the familiar Harvest Sprites to save the Harvest Goddess (who has been turned to stone) by collecting Musical Notes throughout the game. However, there's plenty of food to grow, animals to raise and mates to woo-these objectives are clearly worked into the game's plot.
Furthermore, rather than waiting to release a girl version of the game, Natsume will offer you a choice of playing through Magical Melody as a boy or a girl from the start. In addition, Natsume has included some healthy competition in the form of a rival farmer. Each day, your productivity will be judged against your rival's. And the competition doesn't end there-Magical melody offers a slew of strange minigames, many of which can be expeirienced in four-person multiplayer mode.

Yes- i read that. I've been everywhere on the web searching for information. Of course, when I find spoilers i turn my head and usually the spoilers are well warned previously but still... no new news v.v *sigh* I cannot wait for this game!!! i thought it might've been out already so i was freaking out searching for release dates Anyway, PachiMachi mode (i'm pretty sure that's what it's called- maybe the other way around lol) is where you play the mini games and those can be unlocked... uh... the goddess is turned to stone and the harvest sprites (there's more than just three like in the other- i think seven. three w/color [red, yellow, and blue] and the rest w/out.) enlist your aid... you can plant wherever you want, you can get a pig (it hunts truffles 10 mates per gender and i'm pretty sure the rival can be wedded as well. My favorite- three different starting places!!!! The town, the beach, and the country. One's good for shopping, one has a lotta land, and the other's good for fishing respectively. I think that's awesome!!! Just be aware of the glitch- before getting the final house upgrade remove all your furniture from upstairs!!! this freezes the game ^^ oh and you have property lines too!!! the red's your rival's property but you can buy more by making friends!! and you can make friends with the animals and there's a secret island that a dolphin takes you to sorry so much info... I've been everywhere searching for info (stayed up 'till two) and i'm so excited!!!

I'm pretty sure they were actually. I'm just saying for the ones that imported and in case they don't fix some. The japanese version has more glitches and you can't marry the rival.

Favorite pic: The one above where Jack gives Gwen feather. Hope they dont include: Heart Events, they are cool to watch, sometimes hard to trigger. Things looking forward to: Marry alot of the people from the old games!
P.S.- I remember you Cheza, it's me! Firehead!

You hit the nail on the head with me. Those are the same things I would've put. Kurt and Gwen are my all time favorite HM characters. I like Katie too...mostly because we share a name though. XD;
