Nope, in this one you have to propose to the guy. In HMFG for PS1 they proposed to you.

I like it better when you're the one who proposes. I wanted to wait until I saw the Starry Night Festival event before I showed Gray the Blue Feather. If it was anything like HM:FG then you'd have to accept it or you wouldn't be able to marry them again, which would be a bit disappointing.

I think it would be really romantic if the guys proposed to you.  It would be like the red heart event. And you wouldn't have to spend 1000g! lol. But it does suck that if you say no their heart will disapear. But it would still be awsome. |

Especially if you wanted to see what all the others said. You'd have to wait until the one guy you want proposes. It -is- quite nice that you can just get them all up to a red heart and choose, just in case you got up Grey's heart before Cliff's heart. My case it would be Rick. :3 But you know. Uh, you're right, I think your bachelor should propose to you .. They should change this for the next "For Girls" version of Harvest Moon. That would be kinda interesting. But I think Cliff's too shy for something like that .. ;D
