FoMT's mysteries: Solved?

Here's something you guys and gals can go and figure out for me! I'm lazy.


1. You win a drawing, you get a bottle of wine. You apparently need to give it to a person called "Van". Who, dear friends, is Van? *Dun dun dunnnn*

2. There are two stones around the lake that freezes in the winter, claiming that even level 5 hammers cannot break them. Perhaps a blessed hammer or a cursed hammer does the trick?

2a. What is beyond the lower rock?

2b. What is beyond the upper rock, only accessible during the winter?



Those that know the answer, post away! Those that don't, give me your idea of what could be.

I think Van is a magical juice weasel that needs wine to survive.

As for the rocks, I think one path leads to a mysterious shack that Kai spends other seasons than summer secretly living as an evil, do-rag-wearing hermit. BEWARE.

The other could be a path to where you'll find all the things you accidentally dropped during the game. Like where you'd find your missing socks.

Stupid answers, but I'm anxious to know the truth.

XD I was gonna say, "You don't know who Van is?!" LOL.

2) A blessed hammer, I know, will do the trick. I'm not sure about a cursed hammer, though.
2a) It leads to the path to where you can get that truffle that you see near the upper rock.
2b) The upper rock... yeah, I kinda explained this already.

You'd think that, if you needed a blessed or a cursed hammer to break those rocks, that there would actually be something interesting behind them, wouldn't you? XD

You can sell them to Won if you want to get rid of them.

I think you can smash the rocks with the Cursed Hammer, but I'll check again on my copy of FoMT.
