Dia was startled when she heard Grey’s voice. She didn't even see him sitting there. "Oh! Um well, you see, I found this small piece of Sand Rose floating in the pond near the hot spring. I have this ring band that my mother gave to me when I was a child. I want you to put this Sand Rose on my ring." Dia rambled around in a small pouch that hung from her hip, and brung out a small round piece of Sand Rose, she set it on the counter. She then dug in the bag once more and brought out a gold ring band.
"Tell me Grey, can you do it? Or...Is this too much work for an apprentice?" She said with a smirk.

Gray's face grew hot under his cap. "Sh-shut up! I can so do it!" His words tripped over themselves at first, but he found that small bit of courage he was looking for. He picked up the gold band and examined it, then did the same with the sand rose. He began to walk into the back of the shop, slowly while still examining. "I'll be there in a few minutes." He muttered to Dia, though still not sure if she could hear him.

Dia couldn't help but smile at Grey. "I suppose I'll just wait here while you make my ring. I've got nothing else to do anyway. Alex is too busy at the clinic, so I can't talk to him...And well, I don't talk to anyone else in this town. Most of the people are just too snotty or weird." She shook her head. "I don't see you out much, why is that?" Not that Dia did go out much, but when she did, she never seen Grey around.

Cliff was friends with Gray, as much as the two boys could -be- friends with their socially-inept behavior. He made his way from the Winery to the blacksmith's shop, passing Saibara on the way.
So Gray was by himself in the shop? That could be beneficial for Cliff, since he wouldn't have to deal with Saibara's overpowering sense of self. He allowed himself a small smile and headed into the shop, stopping cold when he saw Dia. Great.
"H-Hi, Dia. Hi, Gray." He was used to talking to Gray, so his voice was a bit stronger just then.

"Yeah, I wonder." Said Gray through clenched teeth, coming back with the ring. Yeah, people are always so snotty and weird to her, the one that had called him an apprentice -he hated that word- the one who was always so rude.
"'Morning, Cliff."

Cliff's heart went out to Gray having to deal with Dia, and he turned his dark eyes to the girl. She always felt the victim, and he had half a mind to give her what she deserved. But he held back. He always held back.
"When Saibara comes back, do you want to go get something to eat? I wanted to talk to you about something." Cliff was rarely so assertive, but he needed advice about Dia and how to handle what the Doctor had given him. It was a momentous task.

Dia spun on her heels as Cliff walked through the door. “Oh, hello Cliff.” She said in a dry monotone voice.
She listened closely as Cliff spoke to Grey, her eyes squinted at Cliff as he spoke. “So you’re not going to invite me? *Mumble*How rude.*Mumble*.” Dia felt her skin just boiling. How dare Cliff just march up into the shop and still her company away from her and not invite her to go out with them! Why, if she had more strength, she would have probably punched Cliff in that little depressed face of his. Dia cleared her throat. “If you didn’t noticed, Grey and I were talking! So, he won’t be able to go out with you, because he’s spending time with me!” Dia knew darn well that the conversation between Grey and her wasn’t getting anywhere, she just said that to make herself feel more important.

Cliff caught on and frowned a little. "Maybe I would invite you if you were a little nicer. Gray doesn't look very happy talking with you, Dia, if you haven't noticed." He surprised himself, and it showed on his face. He hadn't meant to snap so.
"I ... didn't mean to snap like that, but ... but it's true."

"Well, I'm done talking to you now. Take your stupid ring." He resusted the urge to thrust it at her, but instead paced it in her palm gently. So gently, in fact, he even surprised himself. Why had he not taken out his anger? She had been so rude, even. He turned and pulled a ring of keys off the wall. "Shop's closed, Dia." He smirked, waiting for her reaction.

Dia was totally stunned at the behavior from Grey, and was especially stunned at Cliff. Her mouth dropped open, and she began to frown.
“You know I could just follow you, and you couldn’t do a darn thing about it.” She said sharply. “But, I have other plans, so you two boys can go and have your stupid fun.” Of course Dia didn’t have other plans, she just said that to try and impress them. She began to shoo the air with her hands. “I’ve dismissed the both of you. Oh, and thank you Grey for the ring, perhaps we can finish up this conversation another time.” She stuck her nose up in the air as she opened her umbrella and strolled out of the shop.

"Follow us all you want, Dia." Gray called to her, not caring weither she did or didn't. She acted as if she owned the place too, or even better, owned them. Probably doctor's orders. "Dissmissed us?" He repeated, almost stunned. "Man, that girl is harsh."

Dia was bored, she knew that Alex would be mad at her if she turned back up into the clinic at this time. She thought it would be fun if she spied on Grey and Cliff.
"There's not too many places they can go and eat" She thought, "The only two places they can go eat is: The inn and *Shivers* Kia's place." She hoped and wished that they didn't go to Kia's, she hated him with a great passion.
She decided that the town square was the best place to go to see where the two men were going. Dia took a seat on the bench and waited for them to pass.

Cliff watched after Dia with a great deal of guilt in his already-weighty heart. He sighed heavily and turned to Gray.
"I think we should go to the supermarket. Get some bread and things and go eat on Mother's Hill. It'll be good to get outside. I can get some wine from the winery, or some grape juice." His voice was quiet, musing to himself. "Maybe we can convince Doug to make up some bento for us."
Snapping out of his reverie, he remember Dia.
"She is rather ... upset. Upsetting. I ... I feel kind of bad for being harsh with her, but ... she's not very nice." His cheeks turned pink a bit and he tugged on his ponytail.
"What do you want to do?"
(Sorry about the delay. Work had some funky schedules)
