Getting Started

Does anyone else have this game? I just got it for Christmas(a little early... And I was wondering, does anybody have advice on starting out? So far, the only money maker I've found is shipping a few things on the mountain. Also, any advice on stuff to give Gray? I heard he likes branchs in this game(like he does in MFOMT) Is that true?

I have BtN, which is pretty close to the girl's version, so I can give you some advice.

For Gray he really likes ore. I know in the boy's version he likes branches, although he doesn't like them as much as ore.

As for money, your best bet is to grow crops and continue getting things from the mountain. Also try to hire some of the Harvest Sprites so you can spend more time mining (especially once you get the basket) and getting things from the mountains.

Good luck! I hope this is accurate for the girl's version as well. I checked a guide at GameFAQs and it looks like everything is the same as in BtN.
