i disagree about Inuyasha and Kikyo :Pi think Kagome and Inuyasha should be together, and that Kikyo should die. it is kinda annoying that she treats Inu like a dog, though. but, i do think Miroku and Sango should be together! and me and Sesshomaru! lol! technically... kikyo is dead... and EXTREMELY annoying i'm an "Anti-Kikyo+Inuyasha" Fan

But.....are you a pro-Kagome-Inuyasha fan then? If so, how can you can yourself a fan of Inuyasha (the character)? Basically, it's like this: Inuyasha is a powerful half-demon who wants to become a full demon with the sacred jewel. Inuyasha befriends Kikyo, guardian of the sacred jewel, and they fall in love. Naraku comes and screws with everyone, and it ends up with Inuyasha impaled against a tree by an arrow. 50 years pass.. Kagome, typical high-schooler looking for romance, stumbles into Feudal Era Japan. Wakes Inuyasha. Through a series of comical events, the jewel shard is broken, and a necklace is given to Kagome to slip around Inuyasha's neck that will allow her to to force him to collapse every time she utters a certain phrase. The phrase, it seems, is whatever she initially decides it to be. Of all the brilliantly-girly things to come up with, Kagome makes the phrase "sit boy", because, gosh darn it, he looks like a dog. Fast forward... Almost 95 episodes documenting their adventures have followed in which Kagome utters the words "Sit Boy" in nearly every single one.Why does she do this? What the hell kind of life does she think Inuyasha had before she entered it? Everyone's in love with this grand idea of Kagome and Inuyasha being destined for each other, but in reality: (1), Inuyasha and Kikyo were already in love with each other, and (2), A relationship cannot work when one person chooses to control the other. It just can't work. Inuyasha may care for Kagome a lot. He may be jealous whenever Koga comes sweep her off her feet. But who should he choose? Someone who thinks nothing of saying "sit boy" (in itself an insult --- treating the other half of the relation as less than a fully-grown, responsible, adult person) whenever Inuyasha does any little thing that displeases her, or a woman who simply respected him for who he was as an independant half-demon? In my honest opinion, anyone who would side with Kagome on the way she treats Inuyasha does not deserve to be in any sort of loving relationship with a boyfriend or girlfriend. Kagome is an emotionally-immature teenage girl, and Inuyasha and Kikyo are responsible adults. Sorry to rain on anyone's parade who might have fantasies of being Kagome simply because they're the same age, but I'm just being realistic. I think that's the way they designed all of the other characters on the show, at least. Miroku is mature, Sango, Inuyasha..... It's sad.

i guess we all have our opinions. ha! inuyasha mature? im sorry, but Inuyasha isnt THAT mature... not really. i have had thoughts before about how Kikyo and Inuyasha were good together, and i felt bad for what had happened. the main thing is, KIKYO IS DEAD. she really isnt the Kikyo she once was. shes different, and as ive said, she tried to pretty much kill Inuyasha. and, as ive also said, i simply think that that relationship has been screwed over, and things need to move on. now if Kikyo was ALIVE and was like how she once was, i MIGHT simply think he should be with Kikyo. and the whole Kagome "sitting" him thing? that was simply made for laughs. oh, and i guess im simply not meant to have a boyfriend because i like Kagome? .....i wouldnt get a boyfriend either way, cause im ugly and people find me weird for likeing japanese things.....(sorry, just kinda depressed right now....)

i think it's really funny/awesome/whatever that Kagome can just say "Sit boy" and she can get her way. ;D and Kagome is obviously a pair-up with Inuyasha because they fight so much. same thing goes with Miroku and Sango. if there isn't a couple of fights here or there, funny or not, the relationship is too good to be true but, It's just my opinion.

Funny? As in what, some kind of stupid girl empowerment thing? I don't think you'd find it nearly as funny if Inuyasha was wielding his power over her for whatever damn reason he could come up with.

Sorry, I'm just one of those weird old fashion-types that think that everyone should treat each with equal respect. Inuyasha saving Kagome's life one episode, then her forcing him to collapse to the ground (not only does that HURT, it's freaking inhumane) isn't equality. Kagome gets some sick little female-empowerment kick out of the deal. It thrills her to have a boyfriend she can control.
It's not even a matter of having "different opinions". I'm simply pointing out two painfully obvious facts: (1), the way Kagome treats Inuyasha is wrong, wrong, freaking DEAD WRONG, and (2), Relationships where control is taken whereas it given generally do not work. It is obvious that Inuyasha doesn't LIKE being treated as a dog (gee, I wonder who WOULD?!), but Kagome still continues to do it, thus interupting the natural flow of his life in which he previously wasn't controlled by some obnoxious teenage girl from the 20th century.

FURTHERMORE, to those who seriously think it's "awesome'" that Kagome could have their way, I wish you the best of luck with your love life. May you one day find someone that YOU can put on a leash and call a dog -- err, "boyfriend".

I have to disagre with that part...
After a while... Kagome only says sit-boy just to show her affection for him.
And also let me note that Kikyo is already dead.
She's a walking sculputure of clay. The dead and living together is nearly impossible.
Kikyo kisses INuYasha so much but she always tries to kill him after word.Which makes no sense at all.
And she takes the the souls of the dead. Which she uses just to move for her own selfish needs. And because of that the souls of the dead can't rest in peace.=/
Thats my opnion. I am not bashing anyone or the character KIkyo.
.....
Kag x Inu forevar! ^__^ and I loved the 2nd INuYasha movie. The part when Kagome finally kisses INuYasha makes me real happy for her.n__n
**Edit**
Hmph, my friend is a pro- Kag x Inu fan and I'm SURE she knows mroe about it then you.
It doesn't matter what coupel you support.
What matter is what you watch and learn about the show. Not by the couplings other support.

And I'm wondering why you're saying such mean stuff DaryGray.Taking things over seriously, eh? Well, heres what I have to say: "Funny? As in some stupid girl enpowerment?" Let em spell it out for you..It's called..A-N-I-M-E! Stuff like that commonly happens in anime and manga. Anime is supposed to be funny or the story line would just be like a book.=P If it wasn't for the funny parts like Kagome's "Sit-Boy" we wouldn't even HAVE InuYasha.XP "(1), the way Kagome treats INuYasha is wrong, just FREAKING, WRONG." Again.. its called A-N-I-M-E. If you REALLY knew much about anime you'd know that.XP Oh, and your comment about girls putting leash's on boys.. You might have just jynx yourself.XP ^_^ Yeah, see, I can say my opnions too, and I say your being way overly protective of your opnions, DarkGray... Unlike Nyoko and Akira who are just reading your comments and accepting them.. But you have to reply really rudely like that. Whcih seems unfair.=/ I don't mind you putting up your opnions but saying such stuff is rude. Oh, yeah.Miroku is NOT mature.XDDDD For petes sake he flirts with every girl he sees!xD Sango isn't mature either! When ever she gets mad she goes beserk and knocks the living daylight out of anyone she sees!XDD InuYasha isn't mature because he's arrogant, rude, foul mouthed, Hot-headed, hot-blooded.XDD I could go on forever.

*high-fives Kanoa-chan* ^^ Awesome! ^^ ANd, the mature...ness thing, lemme say! ^^ Inuyasha fights with his friends like a little kid, and I can compare him to my 7 year old brother, i mean really, NOT MATURE. Miroku gropes people and fricking asks any girl in sight if they want to bear his children, NOT MATURE. Sango, She's okay, but i think she needs anger management (NOT MATURE). But then again, neither is Kagome or Kikyo or anyone else in that anime... I mean they're all trying to kill eachother!! i love Inuyasha (the anime) but i don't think any of the characters act mature at all

i agree with Kanoa-chan! your taking the show WAY too seriously. i also just read recently on a site a question someone asked. they said,"why does Kagome act thaat way?" and the answer was something like "Japanese women are supposed to act like that." so Kikyo is actually not "more normal" as you say. and plus shes D-E-A-D. but, whatever! you have your opinion, and we have ours.^_^
