I have to admit, he's not bad looking. Rick was one of my favorite characters in HM64, but I don't like him in BTN or FoMT.

I don't dislike Rick. He just wants to be a good brother to Popuri and I don't see why people hate him so much, although I find it annoying how he talks for so long during the Chicken Festival.

Well, you can already guess I'm not a hater of the little fox. I think he's very handsome. What is it about glasses that turn some people off? Glasses are shmexy ;P And I can easily understand the way he is protective of his little sister. If any of the girls out there has an older brother, I'm sure he's been protective of you at least ONCE. And without his dad around, poor rick is left as the only one to care for both his sister and his sick mom. I'd be a little stressed, too, no? |

Ahhh, I've been on GameFaqs, I even inquired as to why everyone hated him. Funny thing was no one could come up with a good answer except for "omg hez a geek..." and the fact he marries Karen. Mwahaha, but after I explained him out a bit, half of them began to feel okay about him.

i dont mind Rick... he's responsible and caring. and he's very protective. a little too protective over Popouri if you ask me but he's still sweet. and the way he gives you a childhood treasure(watch in more friends of mineral town) is so sweet! and his yellow heart event is really romantic. i'm not going to marry him, but i'll just say this: GO RICK! his glasses are kinda strange though.... |

It's not the glasses I dislike; I wear them myself, and I've always gone for girls with glasses in HM. What I don't like about him is his habit to explode and over-react-- although I do appreciate how hard he tries for his family, and I respect him for that.
