-Guys- Cliff: ...what is his problem? He's so whiny and he's such a downer, sheesh, Louis needs to hook him up with some uppers or something. Louis: So you all know who he is, he's the bug guy who lives with Gotz in BTN. C'mon, you all know he's on drugs, just look at his EYES for Pete's sake! Gray: Okay, I love this guy a lot, but he is so darn WHINY. He's like a little kid "MY GRANDPA HATES ME =OO zOmG!!!!" Yeesh, he's just trying to whip you into shape, you skimpy city boy. *shakes old man cane* Rawr. Kai: ...Ick, I just do NOT like his ladies' man personality. XDD Secondly; he has no personality at all, he's like Basil, there is only one thing in the world to him and that would be FOOD. One time I showed him my baby in BTN when he was in the square and he said something like "I have no interest in this, I cannot eat it" u_u; Barley: I <3 old men, no complaints at all. Saibara: Same for above, could lighten up on Gray though. Doug: ...Nah, no complaints. It's all good for him. Won: ...Cheap skate. He's awesome, I'd like to marry him, but he's a total rip off. LOL, y'know... I find it kind of funny (and a bit rude) that people only hate Rick because he looks funny. No offense to anybody who hates Rick for only that reason, but it's a bit prejudiced, don'cha think? o__x Besides, if everyone liked people only for what they looked like, LOTS of people would hate me.  And now, I'm going to follow the crowd and write my reasons for the guys. Gray: His personality seems a bit whiny. Cliff: Too depressed. LIGHTEN UP A BIT, HON! Kai: He's a bit too flirtatious for my taste. x_o Gourmet Judge: He can be RUUUDE when judging people! Doctor: Too serious. There's a good side to life, ya know. Won: CHARLATAN! Kappa: Somewhat rude. Rick: I don't see why he HATEHATEHATES Kai, just because Kai likes Popuri. Doesn't Rick like Karen? Nobody hates him for that. I beg to differ. Look at GameFAQs and read all the Rick hate posts. The only reason they don't like him is because he's the rival for Karen. Right when I read "bash stampede", I knew everyone would have something negative to say about Rick. How about we never make bash threads or anything of the sort ever again, aye? Yes, they're video game characters, but people really shouldn't truly feel HATE for someone that isn't real .. if you do, you should get your head checked. And yes, Fairy Friend, your writing is good, though as another writer, it wouldn't hurt to slap on a couple of extra betas. Just my say, considering how I despise how people do nothing but shower authors with praise when what they really SHOULD be doing is giving constructive criticism so the writing is better. Y'hear that, would-be writers? Mass praise is much more rude and disrespectful than getting a USEFUL word of advice. The wise dork has spoken, and a little too much! |

I don't mind bashing threads because, even though they're video game characters, it's annoying to see people always bashing Won, Kappa, and the Gourmet Man in the other threads because "they're not pretty." At least people are a bit more creative with this thread.
I agree with you about the writing. It's the one reason I never read fanfiction because the majority of reviews say nothing other then how the story's good or, in Harvest Moon fanfiction, how they like the story because the main character is going out with their favorite character. I've also read posts on Gaia about how some fanfic writers refuse to write any more after their story was given constructive criticism, which is stupid because I'd be happy if someone, or a few people, tore my story to shreds. That's the one reason I hated elementary because the only criticism I got was "Good, but short" or something equally helpful.
So...to get back on topic...Jack wears his hat backwards, which bothers me. I don't like backwards hats.

Just because the characters is fictional, doesn't mean you can't dislike them. Or hate them even for the mature. Thats fandom, and fandom will always be fandom.O_O; And people opnions on characters is their opnion. Many people hate Rick for their own reasons, not all people hate him because he's the rival for Karen. Infact, I don't even care about Karen, I could careless about her. My main reason for disliking him is because he is too overly protective. I really don't like it when people are overly protective, its annoying. Thats just my opnion.o,o; Though, I get obbessed with characters, too. But, not in the kind of obbessed way I would say "OMG, I HATE WON BECAUSE HE'S UGLY!!!111!!!". Mainly, I overly obbssive with characters if their related to couples I support. Like Seth x Eirik.XD I'm obbessed with Seth AND Eirik just because I support them together.oO; So, yeah. I'm done rambling/ranting, whatever you want to call it. |

I never ask anyone, though, so it's partially my fault, though, LOL. BTW, just out of curiosity, do you draw artwork? Because I think I remember seeing somebody on Deviantart named TheDorkQueen who had some really good artwork. |
